Download POLAM’s Mobile Banking App:

  1. In the App Store for Apple users or Google Play for Android users.
  3. Download the app.

Set Up Your Mobile Access:

  1. If you are already enrolled in Online Banking, enter your existing Username and Password.
  2. If you haven’t enrolled in Online Banking, return to the POLAM FCU website and begin your Online Banking enrollment.

Use Mobile Deposit to deposit a check on the go.

Securely and safely, deposit a check using your mobile device that has a camera with Mobile Deposit. Download the POLAM FCU Mobile App to your smartphone, sign in to your account and tap the Deposit icon (3rd from left) on the bottom of the main menu screen.  If you don’t see the Deposit icon on the bottom, please call us at (800) 404-5137 to activate this feature.  

Now you can skip a trip to the branch or ATM!

How do I prepare my check for mobile deposit?

On the back of the check, in ink, please write Mobile Deposit Only POLAM FCU, Account number and signature.


How long should I keep my check once I deposit it?

POLAM FCU requires that you retain any check deposited through Mobile Banking for sixty (60) days. After the sixty (60) days, you should securely destroy the check.


What if I am not eligible to use Mobile Deposit?

Call us at (800) 404-5137 and we will review your account.


Is there a limit on the deposit amount or the number of deposits I can make?

Each member is allowed deposits up to $2500 per item/$5000 per business day* depending on your average daily balance. If you need a higher daily limit, please call (800) 404-5137 so we can review your account.


What apps support the Mobile Deposit feature?

Currently, the downloadable apps for Android & Apple iOS devices are supported. Apple devices must be running iOS 5.1.1 or later and have a rear facing camera. Android devices must be running Android 2.2 or later and have a rear facing camera. 

Is the money deposited available immediately?

Deposits are held for two business days, and will be reviewed each business day to determine if the hold is released or extended.

What does Mobile Deposit cost?

POLAM FCU’s Mobile Deposit feature in our Mobile app is free to use. However, your data plan may have fees which will apply.

*Based on your account standing and at the discretion of POLAM FCU. Must have a checking account in good standing with POLAM FCU.
